The Brighton Girl Halloween Party!

+ + November 1, 2016

Halloween is over! But before I shuffle the autumn vibes aside in favour of glitter and festive songs, I thought I’d share some quick snapshots from the Brighton Girl Halloween Party last Saturday.

Brighton Girl is a really cool group of young(ish) women who meet up for coffee mornings, evening drinks, events and whatnot. It revolves around Brighton Girl Magazine, which is a project fronted by the lovely Pippa. I admit to not being the best Brighton Girl when it comes to offline meet ups. I went to the first one and then… wow. Well. This year has been crazy to say the least. For a whole host of reasons (ranging from busyness to laziness) I haven’t made it to any other events. But when I heard about the Halloween party, which was a charity event benefiting the Survivors Network (TW: sexual abuse), I thought I should definitely make an appearance.

I had a lovely time! I remembered several of the Brighton Girls from the first meet up. Of course I also have quite a few of them on Twitter, and several are also bloggers (hi Jess & Josh and Sammy), so it was nice to see some of them IRL! It definitely solidified a goal in my mind to make it out to more Brighton Girl events. Such a great way to make friends!
